Real Madrid Vs PSG Match Preview

Its match day 5 of the 2019/2020 Uefa Champions League and our game of the week would be Real Madrid VS PSG.
Spanish giants Real Madrid would hope to join Paris Saint-Germain in the knockout stage of the Champions League when the two teams clash at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.

The French champions have already secured their passage into the last-16 of the tournament and would seal their position as group leaders with a point in Madrid, while a victory tomorrow guarantees Los Blancos a spot in the next round
Madrid's Champions League campaign didn’t kick off the way they wanted, when considering that they lost 3-0 at PSG in their opener before drawing 2-2 at home to Club Brugge.
They bounced back and Back-to-back wins over Galatasaray have moved the Spanish giants onto seven points, though, and they are in a very strong position to advance to the last-16 stage of the competition.

Madrid have as a boost the fact that they were triumphant the last time they welcomed PSG to the Bernabeu in the Champions League, recording a 3-1 victory in the last-16 stage of the 2017-18 campaign.

PSG on the other hand have maintained a 100% record in the champions league this season, recording four straight victories against Madrid, Galatasaray and Brugge to top the section with 12 points.

As we’ve said before, Thomas Tuchel's side have already secured their place in the round of 16, while a point at the Bernabeu would see them advance as group winners. That said, even if they were to lose on Tuesday night then a win over Galatasaray next month would see them top the section.

The odds are not looking good for them; they are facing a Madrid team whose form as of late has been massive. PSG also have only managed to win just two of their last 10 matches against Spanish opposition, losing their last five away matches in Spain, which might lower their confidence going into the encounter.
